Nina & the Scooter

Nina is my Service Dog. She quickly has learned to pick up things I drop, from my keys to paperback books & small figurines. And even more quickly learned to bring me her leash to GO!.
I couldn't have been blessed with a more loving and smart pet let alone such a great service dog
Since we so seldom go in a car the wheelchair had become Nina's car ride. I use my wheelchair as a walker because walkers are terrible outside, and my arms are too weak to push myself far in the wheelchair, so when we go for walks , she will walk for a 1/2 block or so, but then hops in the chair for her ride. When I get tired and need to sit we take turns
The first day I got the scooter, Nina fell in love with it. And when she saw me fasten the WC to it she went nuts wanting to GO! and barking at me to hurry up. There was no walking a 1/2 block or so this time.

Goody she's coming!

On the ride if I stopped to visit a neighbor, she would give me about a minute then start barking to GO! and scratching on my back to hurry me up.

A couple days later I got the scooter out and leaned it on the fish pond, Immediately Nina started trying to get in the little basket on the back, but the overhang of the bench seat wouldn't allow her enough room to get in.
I went for my camera to get a shot of her trying to get on, little did I realize I would get some treasured shots

OK how do you start this thing?

You can't tell from the photo, but she had her paw on the accelerator button. Good thing it was turned off

Nina is a never ending joy of watching her antics

Hope you enjoyed her antics with the scooter, as much as I did
