The Top/Cover reads as follows:

San Diego, Cal 1915
The Bottom Stamp is blue and partially gone.
It faintly says "Hand Painted, Nippon" with a mountain and a rising sun mark. Lovely Yellow Flowers on a green stem with leaves surround a picture of the Foreign Arts building. There is a gold rim that has worn off in most areas on the bottom where the cover sits. The gold rim around the top of the cover is all there with no missing segments.
This Little trinket box measure about 4 inches across and 2 1/4 high
FLAWS:
There is a chip in the bottom part at the top, of the rim! Once the cover is on you can't see this. The Yellow flowers on the top piece are rough in some areas, and I am unsure if this was intended by the artist. Also there is a wavy line on the bottom section, outside wall that has no texture, but could be a hairline crack, very hard to see!
