Up for your consideration this week, I have this neat old mechanical toy, Good Time Charlie, An Illfelder Toy. He has his original box which says he performs these action features: Cigar Lights, Blows Smoke from Mouth, Raises Bottle to Mouth, Moving Head, Red Flushing Face, Foot Wiggles, Blinking Street Light.
As you can see from the photos, his face, cigar and the street light works, but he must've turned over a new leaf to get healthy because he's no longer drinking and smoking. Seriously though, his lights will come on for me but I think his motor needs tinkering with as the other features that require the motor isn't working. The positives are that he's in truely wonderful cosmetic condition. Good and clean with just a touch of stain on his cuffs and shirt. The box is in great condition as well. Charlie measures 11 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide.
