Up for auction is a bizarre art pottery vase. Bottom is signed - I don't recognize the signature - but maybe you will. I found this treasure at an estate sale. It was dusty and hidden in the back. It was full of something but the opening was kinda small, so I didn't try to empty it at the estate sale.
I got home and shook the contents out - DOZENS OF DEAD SPIDERS! Big hairy dead spiders! I had it in front of the window but had to move it because when the wind blows across it, you hear a creepy whistling sound - I think that is the souls of all those dead spiders!!!
It is a very unique piece that someone put a lot of work into. I don't believe it is a home project. Someone important made this unusual piece. Vase is round, almost like a bowling ball - has a small opening at the top. The opening is about 1.25". Piece is glazed all over. Bottom third is not painted - just the color of the clay. The top 2/3 is painted in varying shades of blue.
