Her mother tried all kinds of remedies to get her to stop, but to no avail. One day she ran to her mother crying because she had been watching one of her ebay auctions, and sat there for the last five minutes of the auction hitting refresh every two seconds to see if anyone else bid it up another .50. She was watching, clicking and chewing her fingernails. Little did she know she had begun to chew her fingers too. She just sat there watching her auction go higher and higher. You see, she was selling an old straight jacket. The day she listed it, she was going to throw it away and decided to check ebay to see if something like that would sell. Wow, they sell pretty high, let me try my luck said the girl. Seven days later there she was, excited about selling something she thought was garbage, but was going to help her pay the bills. The saying is so true, "One man's trash is another man's treasure". So the poor girl sat there till the EOA chewing her nails till she chewed her fingers off.
