Here is my story about this Hawaiian Tiki vase. My husband and I were on vacation exploring the Hawaiian natural terrain. Suddenly a rain storm came up. Seeking shelter from the rain, we ran into a cave. We immediately realized that this was no ordinary cave! There were lighted torches on the wall and some kind of throne carved out of stone. As we slowly took in the surroundings, the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up as I realized we were not alone! Staring back at us from a dark corner were two piercing brown eyes. As I got used to the dark, I realized this person was dressed like a Hawaiian native from the old times. He was as startled as we were.
We were preparing to run back out into the rain when he began to speak. He said the Tiki God had sent us and that he must offer us a gift. That is when he gave me this Tiki vase. It is caramel brown and measures 5.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide. It is marked “Orchids of Hawaii, R.91, Japan” Then the man told us that this fierce looking Tiki is good luck. He will ward away the evil spirits-even the ones that come in the form of fruity tropical drinks! We were in a trance watching this until a bolt of lightening flashed and a clap of thunder shook the cave. When our eyes adjusted back after the lightening, the man had vanished, and we were left holding the Tiki vase.*

*This not really a true story. It is for fun and the PGP Halloween sale. If you thought it was true, you definitely need the Tiki God to ward of those fruity tropical drink spirits!
