This auction is for an original work of glass art that I have personally dubbed "Eggplant in the Wind."
Don't be fooled by the lack of symmetry that this vase posesses. Anyone can own a straight standing vase, but you can have one that leans elegantly!
Notice the ultra-excessive use of glass on the handles. This is America, baby. We like excess--and lots of it!
The possible uses of this vase are endless. Just think of the things you can do with it:
- Load the small diameter hole in the vase with little balls of sticky tape. Present it to a child in your home. Offer that child a crisp dollar bill if they can get all the tape out. Enjoy your 6 hours of peace!
- Present the vase as a gift to the most pretentious person you know. Tell them that it's believed to be a piece from Picasso's glass phase. Laugh when you see it displayed on their mantle.
- Ladies-ever wonder if that diamond you received last holiday is real? This glass is the perfect testing ground! If the diamond cuts the glass, go give your man a big smooch. If not, see the next use
- Weapon. Not only is this vase ornamental, it's also heavy enough to take out a grown man when swung properly. Don't ask how I know this.
This vase is deep purple/amethyst in color, and stands between 4 and 5 inches high depending upon which side you measure.
